This is an idea for a multiple stage Op. How this works is one team will be chosen to go on a series of missions, the rest will be the OpFor. (The amount of lives the team has will be adjusted according to how many members are on the team.)
Each mission is the equivalent to a regular skirm, and depending on the out come of the mission that will decide what the team will do next.
For example: Lets say the complete the objectives of the mission, they will continue to the next one; whichever that may be. If they fail, the next skirm will simulate a retreating scenario with it's own objectives.
The desicions the teams make will impact which path they take, just like in real life situations.
TEAMS:
Special Detachment Group:
This is the designated group that will carryout this Operation.
OpFor:
Everyone else.
MISSIONS:
The different scenarios for each mission can not be disclosed at this moment, because in real life situation you don't know what you'll be getting into until your there. Once on the field the Mission Plan will be disclosed to the Special Detachment Group.
RULES:
Like stated above specific rules will be give according to which Mission is being played. But the basics still apply:
If you sneak up behind anybody you use the BANG rule.
If two opposing player are too close and are aware of it, you use the PARLEY rule.
And everybody knows the rest, no blind firing, call hits, etc..
Special Detachment Group Rule:
One rule does apply to the SDGroup, since this Op simulates a "Behind Enemy Lines" scenario, certain rules apply.
Once the SDGroup gets on the field they won't be aloud off. This means you have to take EVERYTHING with you, you think you'll need for a minimal of 3 skirms (as of right now). This means BB's, Guns, Water, Batteries, Comm's, Food,... ect. You will not be allowed back to you car for any reason. You must do everything on the field, whether it's during battle or during a briefing; You must load up, drink up, and be ready on a moments notice for the next mission.
MISC:
This Op is gonna take planning and can't be done on any ordinary Saturday skrim. Everyone would have to show up very early, so that they get a chance to load up and still have a good amount of time to play.
Another thing, if the SDGroup fails two missions consecutively, that will result in failure of the Operation, and of the Team. Depending on how much time we have left we could just resume regular skirms.
As of right now I only have three Mission ideas and what happens if the SDGroup fails.
That's it. What do you guys think?
